Roasted BBQ Chickpeas

Writer: tianastexaskitchentianastexaskitchen

Welcome to my new and improved blog page! Ever since moving to Texas a few weeks ago, I kept trying to think of how to revamp the blog with a Texan flare. You can still access the older blog posts on my Sunday Funday of VA website, but all new recipes will be on this page.

That being said, Texas has been amazing. Austin is full of amazing food, atmosphere, and truly awesome people. The smell of BBQ smell wafting in the air is the norm, and so I searched for an easy recipe to make myself. Try out this simple and tasty roasted bbq chickpeas from the blog The Tasty Kitchen. I'm throwing these babies in a veggie wrap tomorrow for a weekday lunch. I hope you did something fun this Sunday!

Original Recipe:

  • 3 cups Cooked Or Canned Chickpeas (I used 2 cans of chickpeas)

  • 1 clove Garlic, Crushed (I used minced garlic)

  • ⅓ cups BBQ Sauce (I used Aldi brand Memphis-style BBQ sauce)

  • 2 teaspoons Olive Oil

Directions:

Follow the directions as listed on The Tasty Kitchen website.

My Review:

This recipe was cheap, easy, and very tasty. Give it a try and take the taste test for yourself!
