Vegetarian Swedish "Meatballs"

I've never quite grasped what Swedish meatballs truly are. I've seen video after video, recipe after recipe. However, this was my first and LAST attempt at making Swedish meatballs. I had a basket of mushrooms sitting in my fridge that needed to be used, and I like trying new things.


So, I went to my favorite recipe hub and found these vegetarian Swedish meatballs by Tasty.co.


Give them a try (if you want) and I hope you did something fun this Sunday!

Follow recipe as listed. I served with multi-color rotini pasta, but that's the only difference!

My Review:


Never again. I generally like most recipes that Tasty.co spits out, but this one is a hard pass. I didn't like the flavor combination, most of the meatballs fell apart when mixing with the pasta, and it was just overall gross. I mean, barely edible. If you typically like Swedish meatballs, you may like them, but not this girl!
